Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque has addressed fans chanting for ‘one more match’ following tonight’s WWE Night of Champions show.
Triple H last competed in a match back at a live event in 2019, when he teamed with Shinsuke Nakamura to defeat Samoa Joe and Bobby Roode.
Following that match, Triple H since suffered a major health scare, which forced him to retire from in-ring competition, which was official at WrestleMania 38, when he left his boots in the ring.
Triple H received his solo WWE Hall of Fame induction at this year’s WrestleMania event in Las Vegas, and the crowd in Riyadh tonight at Night of Champions were hoping to see one last match from ‘The Game’.
However, he made it clear that wouldn’t happen, as he responded to the crowd’s chants by saying:
“Trust me there ain’t one more match left in this. You know how they say ‘if it’s the last thing I do’, it WOULD be the last thing I do.”
