Report: Triple H Planning To ‘Stack’ WrestleMania 40, Targetting Two Major Names WWE

With the card for this year’s WrestleMania 39 event seemingly now all locked in, it’s nearly time to begin looking ahead at next year’s 40th edition of the show.

The show is set to take place in Philadelphia, and WWE Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque already has plans to ‘stack’ the event.

Speaking with GiveMeSport, WrestleVotes revealed that Triple H is going to ‘stack’ next year’s show with it being the 40th anniversary of the event.

They said:

Next year they’re going to pack and stack the hell out of the card, because of the anniversary. It means something to Triple H.

Specifically, WrestleVotes also noted that the ‘door is open’ for two major names to work next year’s event who rejected appearing at this year’s show.

Those names are The Rock, who told WWE he wouldn’t be fit to get in ring shape for a match with Roman Reigns in time for the show, and Stone Cold Steve Austin, who rejected numerous pitches for this year’s event, including matches with Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns.

Obviously with the show over a year away, a lot of plans can change between now and then, but focus on next year’s event will begin once WrestleMania 39 is in the rear view.
