WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque has addressed potential changes for WWE Raw moving to Netflix.
In January 2025, WWE Raw will move to Netflix, making a change to a streaming service after being on cable television since the show’s debut in 1993.
This move to Netflix will begin a 10-year, $5 billion deal with the streaming service.
At the WWE Bad Blood post-show press conference, Triple H was asked about production changes that could occur for the program when Raw moves to Netflix. He answered:
“Here’s the cool thing about what we do: slightly different from a lot of other sports, a lot of other sports somebody like Netflix picks them up and then somebody has to produce that content because the other sport doesn’t produce the content; we’re turnkey.”
“We do everything we do and then we just deliver the product; they turn on the signal, we deliver it out. I think it’s one of the key ‘wonderful’ things about WWE, that not everybody is in that place.”
Monday Night Raw recently made the change from three hours to two hours starting with the October 7 episode on USA Network. The show will remain two hours until the end of 2024.
