Triple H has commented on Dragon Lee’s recent WWE Speed Championship victory, calling his performances en route to the win “incredible”.
On the November 15 edition of WWE SmackDown, the WWE Speed Championship match between Andrade and Dragon Lee was held, with the bout airing on Twitter the following Wednesday (November 20).
After holding the title for 161 days, Andrade would be dethroned by Lee, marking the second time the LWO member has captured gold in the company.
After the match aired, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H took to Twitter to post a picture with Lee, heaping praise on his efforts in the WWE Speed tournament.
Triple H wrote:
He’s delivered incredible performances throughout this entire No. 1 Contender’s Tournament… and now, he’s your NEW #WWESpeed Champion.
Huge congrats to @dragonlee95 on this well-deserved victory.
