Triple H has reacted to a legend’s confirmed return at the upcoming WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14.
For the first time since 2008 WWE will host Saturday Night’s Main Event, reviving the fan favorite show at Long Island, New York’s Nassau Coliseum on December 14.
With WWE reportedly aiming to give the show an “old school” feel it’s only right that they recruited one of the mot iconic voices of the 1980s to make his return at the show.
That being WWE Hall of Famer Jesse ‘The Body’ Ventura, who’s return was officially announced earlier today.
In response to the announcement, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H posted the following to Twitter, welcoming the former Governor of Minnesota back to the company:
Nobody reps Saturday Night’s Main Event like “The Governor”.
Welcome home, Jesse.
After over a decade since his last WWE appearance, Ventura was welcomed back to the company by Triple H in July, with it later being revealed that he had signed a WWE Legend’s contract.
Matches announced for Saturday Night’s Main Event thus far include Cody Rhodes defending his WWE Championship against Kevin Owens, Liv Morgan putting the Women’s World Title on the line vs. IYO SKY and GUNTHER defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Finn Balor.
We will provide further updates if/when more matches are announced for the show.
