Well I guess that’s one way to try and give the ratings a bit of a bump. Triple H has suggested that DX might reunite and have a feud in NXT.
While Shawn Michaels has said he would never return to the ring, he was convinced last year, and as a trainer in NXT, could that be somewhere he was more comfortable to do it?
WWE 2K20 comes out today, and to celebrate, WWE posted a video of DX taking on former NXT tag team DIY, consisting Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano.
Triple H retweeted the post, and added a very interesting comment.
The only place you can watch DIY take on DX … for now. #WeAreNXT @WWENXT https://t.co/a6AlxlEOAY

For now…?
NXT is really struggling on Wednesday nights on the USA Network, so could it take something like a DX return to make people tune in?
Personally, I think making your current wrestlers stars is a better use of time, but you can’t deny that DX reuniting to take on one of WWE’s most popular tag acts wouldn’t bring in some viewers.
