Triple H Tips Title Match To Potentially ‘Steal The Show’ At WWE SummerSlam 2026

Triple H has tipped a championship match to potentially “steal the show” at WWE SummerSlam 2026.

This weekend’s SummerSlam premium live event will see 12 matches take place across Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2 – with six of the 12 being contested for championship gold.

Among the title matches on the card is the WWE Women’s World Title match between, champion Liv Morgan, and 2026 Queen of the Ring IYO SKY.

Previewing the WWE SummerSlam card on ESPN First Take, Triple H heaped praise on SKY and Morgan, referring to the former as the “best in the world” and latter as a “pitbull” that will “do anything” to remain in her spot as Women’s World Champion.

Triple H said:

“Well you said it, IYO SKY, on paper, best in the world right? And the thing about IYO is she’s so lovable, you just want to hug her right? As my kids would say, ‘She’s so wholesome.’ And I think that’s the truth. Fans love her demeanour, love her approach to in-ring and she’s so damn good.”

“Liv, on the other hand, is a pitbull. She’s tenacious. When she wants something, she’s going to do everything in her power to get it. Doesn’t matter if that’s championships, doesn’t matter if that’s in-ring, doesn’t matter if that’s contract wise or in her personal life, she is a pitbull, she is tenacious.

“Now can she match IYO SKY in the skill set in the ring? Maybe not. But you make up that for heart, tenacious, she just will not quite and she will do anything, and I mean anything to stay in the spot she is in. Because she has scratched and clawed and bled and everything else, fought through injuries to get there. She’s not about to let that go away. So this is going to be a war.”

Triple H would then tip Morgan vs. SKY to potentially “steal the show” in Minneapolis this weekend:

“You can say main events, there’s main events in this show right? And some incredible matchups that I think we might have never seen before, or thought we were never gonna get. But the thing that might steal the show on the entire weekend is IYO SKY and Liv Morgan.”
