WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H has made a huge announcement regarding the 2024 King & Queen of the Ring tournaments.

With just two days to go until the King & Queen of the Ring 2024 Premium Live Event kicks off in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, WWE’s head of creative Triple H has added some huge stakes to the men’s and women’s tournaments.

As announced at a WWE event in Saudi Arabia ahead of King & Queen of the Ring, Triple H dropped the bombshell that the winners of each tournament will receive world championship opportunities at SummerSlam 2024 in Cleveland, OH.

Triple H said:

“In the past the King and Queen of the Ring, it was such an honor to be in that tournament and to win that tournament on your own, to have that launch you to another place, but I wanted that tournament to kind of stand on its own and I didn’t want to announce this part of it until we got here.

“But, I’ll let all of you know tonight that the winner of the King of the Ring tournament and the winner of the Queen of the Ring tournament will both go on to receive championship matches with the title of their respective brands.

“They will both get world title shots, either WWE or World title at SummerSlam.”

SummerSlam takes place on August 3, with both WWE Clash at the Castle (June 15) and Money in the Bank (July 6) still to take place in between.
