WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H has hilariously reacted to a Pedigree attempt at an NFL game this past weekend.
The move was ‘performed’ during the Philadelphia Eagles vs Green Bay Packers game on Sunday (January 12), with Quinyon Mitchell choosing this pro-wrestling move for his unique celebration.
During his celebration Mitchell grabbed his teammate Cooper DeJean and channeled his inner-Triple H.
As you can see in the video below, the execution wasn’t perfect, with DeJean dropping to the ground before Mitchell, without his arms properly hooked.
Triple H has now taken to Twitter to comment on this moment, writing:
“There’s a reason we say ‘Don’t try this at home’
…congrats on the win Quinyon & Eagles!”
Pat McAfee also criticised the celebration, writing:
TERRIBLE sell on the pedigree from DeJean
Triple H and WWE are currently welcoming a new era, with Monday Night Raw now streaming live on Netflix every week.
Netflix is the new home of WWE streaming in numerous territories outside of the US, with those territories also receiving SmackDown, NXT and PLEs through the streaming service.
Triple H has now addressed the decision for him to use the terms face, heel, shoot and work during the intro to Raw on Netflix, which you can read more about right here.
There’s a reason we say ‘Don’t try this at home’…congrats on the win Quinyon & @Eagles! https://t.co/HNr3Al33Cc
