More WWE PLEs Moving To Two Nights Update WWE

With WrestleMania and SummerSlam now two-night WWE PLEs, Triple H has addressed the possibility of other events following suit.

The 2025 edition of SummerSlam was the first to go to two nights, following WrestleMania’s being expanded back in 2019.

With TKO CEO Mark Shapiro having previously stated that there are “definitely opportunities” for more two-night WWE Premium Live Events, Triple H has now addressed the possibility.

Speaking to ESPN SportsCenter, the WWE Chief Content Officer spoke about “super-serving the fans” as a potential reason to move other PLEs to two-night, saying:

“I think it’ll be something that we see over time.

“I think time will tell, and it’s really for us about super-serving our fans, just like for ESPN. You guys thrive on super-serving your fanbase and the people that watch – so do we. It’s what we wanna do.

“So when we can turn these into bigger events, make them destination weekends for fans, that’s what we will do. It’s all about our fans, our WWE Universe, and making them happy.”

On August 6, a major deal was announced between WWE and ESPN that would see Premium Live Events brought to the platform.

The new deal will see WWE Clash in Paris on August 31 as the last PLE to air on Peacock ahead of the move to ESPN.
