WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque has addressed the future of WWE PLEs after their Peacock deal expires.
The January 6 edition of Monday Night Raw will serve as WWE’s debut on the Netflix streaming service, marking a new era for the company.
With this move, Netflix has become the new home of the majority of WWE’s content outside the United States, including Premium Live Events.
WWE’s deal with Peacock, the company’s current streaming home for their content and PLEs in the United States, is set to expire in March 2026.
Speaking to Jimmy Traina on the SI Media podcast, Triple H addressed the future of WWE PLEs following the Peacock deal expiring in 2026. He said:
“At some point this year, we’ll get into the deal with Peacock, who we love and they’ll get a lot of consideration for us as the existing partner.”
“I like to think that if we’re successful the way we think we will be, Netflix would be very interested and others will be as well.”
“Premium Live Events, that’s our biggest content and our most valuable content, including WrestleMania.”
“I think people will come in strong for that. Hopefully, between now and March of next year, we will prove ourselves that that is our most valuable content,”
WWE’s first Premium Live Event of the year will be Royal Rumble 2025 on Saturday, February 1 from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
