Triple H Discusses NXT Talent’s Win Over WWE Raw Star

Triple H has now addressed an NXT star’s huge victory over a WWE main roster star at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Ahead of John Cena’s retirement match, three main roster vs NXT exhibition matches took place on December 13, showcasing the stars of the future.

One of these matches saw Sol Ruca take on Bayley, with Ruca ultimately victorious over the former WWE Women’s Champion.

Triple H took to Twitter following the match to praise both stars. Highlighting the NXT talent, the WWE Chief Content Officer wrote:

During the Saturday Night’s Main Event post-show, Triple H stated that he believes Sol Ruca just changed the business. 

Also on the card, WWE World Tag Team Champions AJ Styles and Dragon Lee defeated NXT’s Je’Von Evans and TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater.

WWE Champion Cody Rhodes vs NXT Champion Oba Femi ended in a no-contest following Drew McIntyre’s interference.

Drew McIntyre has addressed attacking Cody Rhodes following the match, while also firing shots at Oba Femi.
