Triple H Addresses Huge WWE Title Change WWE

WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H has addressed the World Heavyweight Championship changing hands on Monday Night Raw.

GUNTHER became a two-time World Heavyweight Champion on the June 9 show, defeating Jey Uso to win back his gold.

Triple H has now taken to Twitter to praise this main event, congratulating GUNTHER and showing respect to Jey Uso.

The WWE CCO wrote:

Capped off a huge weekend for @WWE with a 🔥🔥🔥main event on #WWERaw.

Respect to Main Event (truly) Jey @WWEUsos and congratulations to our NEW World Heavyweight Champion @Gunther_AUT.

Jey Uso had been champion for 51 days, after notably defeating GUNTHER at WrestleMania 41 in April.

His title defences saw him wrestle Seth Rollins to a DQ finish on Raw, and defeat Logan Paul at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

GUNTHER has now addressed the reaction to his title win, stating that everybody had left by the time he returned backstage.
