Some of the big matches for WWE’s upcoming pay-per-view events might have just been spoiled by the respective venues hosting the shows. After the WWE Super ShowDown event in Saudi Arabia on Friday June 7, WWE will put on their Stomping Grounds pay-per-view on June 23.

The shot is set to emanate from the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington, and the venue’s website is advertising the following three big matches for the pay-per-view, including a WrestleMania rematch:
- Seth Rollins (c) vs. Baron Corbin – Universal Championship
- Kofi Kingston (c) vs. Kevin Owens – WWE Championship
- Drew McIntyre vs. Roman Reigns
It was reported today that the plan is to have Baron Corbin feud with AJ Styles, possibly leading to a match at the Saudi Arabia show. WWE wants to build Corbin up as a real threat to Seth Rollins’ reign as Universal Champion, I’d expected Corbin to pick up the win over Styles before progressing on to face Rollins.
The following month, WWE will put on yet another pay-per-view, Extreme Rules on July 14th from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Wells Fargo Center has been advertising a tables match between Seth Rollins and Baron Corbin for the Universal Championship for weeks now. However, recently they have added three more big matches to their card, including a triple threat match for the WWE Championship:
- Seth Rollins (c) vs. Baron Corbin – Universal Championship
- Kofi Kingston (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Kevin Owens – WWE Championship
- Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre & Shane McMahon
- AJ Styles vs. TBA
The card is always subject to change, and these advertisements are nearly never 100% accurate.
