Trish Stratus appeared on today’s episode of WWE’s The Bump, during which she hailed NXT’s Rhea Ripley as “the future of women’s wrestling”.
The WWE Hall of Famer recognised that Ripley has been on somewhat of a roll lately, and referred to Survivor Series as her coming-out party.
Ripley was one of three survivors in the NXT team that won the women’s elimination match. She was the one that gone the winning fall on Sasha Banks.
That came a night after she pinned NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler in the first ever women’s WarGames match to overcome a two-on-four disadvantage to win the the match.
Stratus went on to describe Ripley as a dream female wrestler, but then actually corrected herself to more accurately refer to the Aussie as a nightmare.
