Trish Stratus remains one of the biggest women’s wrestling stars in WWE history. She was also among the first women to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013.
Now, the former seven-time Women’s Champion has shared who she thinks should go into the Hall of Fame. Speaking with the Women’s Wrestling Talk podcast, Stratus named Victoria as someone she would like to see go in. Here is the quote, courtesy of Wrestling Inc.:
“Yeah, Victoria, Lisa Marie Varon. I don’t know, I’m surprised she hasn’t been inducted yet. I feel like she definitely… she did so much in WWE and then went on to have a whole another career in TNA and she is iconic.”
Victoria and Trish Stratus had a major rivalry together back in 2002. Among their many matches over the WWE Women’s Championship, the two wrestled a very violent Hardcore match at Survivor Series 2002 where Victoria won the title.
Victoria ultimately left WWE in 2009 and went to TNA Wrestling where she wrestled as Tara. She remained with the company until 2013. Her most recent match came in Warrior Wrestling in 2019.
