Trish Stratus Will Face Charlotte Flair At SummerSlam

Trish Stratus was a guest on Jerry Lawler’s Kings Court on Smackdown Live tonight.  While interviewing Stratus, Lawler talked about the Raw Reunion.  The King talked about how many of the legends wanted to have one more match.  He asked Trish if she wanted one more match.  She said WWE was in her blood, but she’s a mom now and has moved on.

This prompted Charlotte to come down to the ring.  She questioned why she, the best women’s wrestler in WWE, doesn’t have a match at SummerSlam.  She challenged Trish to a match and bashed her for using the mom thing as an excuse.

Trish played the there wouldn’t be a women’s division if she hadn’t paved the way card.  She then accepted the match for SummerSlam.  Trish Stratus will be facing Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam.  Hopefully, this match featuring a legend will go more smoothly than some of the latest matches featuring older superstars.
