Trish Stratus WWE Status Update Following Royal Rumble Return

An update on Trish Stratus’ WWE status and future following her surprise return appearance in the Royal Rumble.

WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus made a surprise appearance in the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble match, where she lasted 13 minutes before being eliminated by Nia Jax.

Fightful had previously reported that Trish had been discussed for upcoming appearances in the company, around the time of the Raw Netflix premiere.

Fightful followed up with additional sources, that noted that Trish will sometimes make pitches, and that she is a ‘constant piece’ of discussion for them.

In the latest update on Trish’s status from Fightful Select (subscription required), she is expected to be involved with the company in some way heading into the Elimination Chamber event, with the show set to take place in her hometown of Toronto.

The company has also produced new merchandise for the 25 year anniversary of her debut.

Trish also appeared at last year’s Money In The Bank event, also in her hometown of Toronto, where she served as the host of the event, and introduced John Cena ahead of him announcing his retirement.
