WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus has now named the one WWE star she feels she has to wrestle before her in-ring retirement.
Stratus has proven that she can still hang with WWE’s current stars in the ring, with Stratus having an extended in-ring run last year.
While Stratus hasn’t wrestled since September 2023, the former Women’s Champion has noted that she wants to face off against Nia Jax before she retires.
Speaking with Scott Fishman for TV Insider, Stratus named Nia Jax as a star she currently loves watching.
Hopeful for a match against the current WWE Women’s Champion, Stratus said:
“I’m so happy she came back. She has a great presence. She has been owning it. I really enjoy watching her.
“I have this weird thing where I don’t think I could fully retire until I’m ragdolled by her. Is that weird? Imagine that? Then I can retire.”
Stratus last wrestled at the September 2023 Payback premium live event, losing to Becky Lynch in a steel cage match.
Lynch – who hasn’t wrestled since May 2023 – was recently spotted at a WWE/Netflix media event, fuelling rumors about her return.
An update has emerged on a potential gimmick change for Becky Lynch, which you can read more about right here.
