Two Big Matches Announced For WWE SmackDown

Tomorrow night is the final WWE SmackDown prior to Clash of Champions. Most of the card is set, but that doesn’t mean we won’t get a few big matches and segments on the go-home show.

The first match involves the competitors in the Intercontinental Championship match. Sami Zayn and Jeff Hardy will wrestle just two days prior to being in a triple-threat ladder match.

Sami Zayn never lost the Intercontinental Title before taking his hiatus. Jeff Hardy is the reigning IC champ after beating AJ Styles. AJ Styles claims that Hardy cheated to win because of his knee brace being worn during the match.

The other match announced for the show involves one of the more intriguing stories in WWE. Alexa Bliss will be wrestling Lacey Evans. Evans was on the receiving end of a Sister Abigail from Bliss.

Bliss went into a trance after Evans said the name The Fiend after her loss to Nikki Cross last week. Bliss was on commentary and immediately got up and hit Evans with the big move.

Cross battles Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at Clash of Champions. Many are wondering if Alexa Bliss will get involved. Of course, Sasha Banks could also get involved. We’ll just have to wait and see.

One final segment has been announced for SmackDown. Roman Reigns will be in the ring with Paul Heyman for an interview segment. Heyman and Reigns have been money since being paired. This segment should deliver.

As always, we’ll be providing live coverage of WWE SmackDown tomorrow night. Follow along with us during the show.
