Two Championship Matches Confirmed For AEW Full Gear 2025 AEW

Two new championship matches have been confirmed for AEW Full Gear 2025 following tonight’s Fright Night Dynamite show.

Tonight’s Fright Night Dynamite special episode of the Dynamite had major implications for the upcoming AEW Full Gear pay-per-view event next month.

First, the new number one contenders for the AEW World Tag Team Championship were crowned in a four-way tag team match between FTR, JetSpeed, Jurassic Express and the Young Bucks.

FTR ended up scoring the win in the match, earning them a shot at Brody King and Bandido’s AEW World Tag Team Championship at Full Gear.

In the show’s main event, another four-way match took place, this time pitting Samoa Joe, Hook, Ricochet and Bobby Lashley against each other, with the winner facing off with ‘Hangman’ Adam Page for the AEW World Championship at Full Gear.

Samoa Joe ended up scoring the win, with him now set for another shot at Hangman’s championship at Full Gear in a rematch from their previous encounter for the title at WrestleDream.

Also set for the show is an AEW Women’s World Championship match between Mercedes Mone and Kris Statlander.
