Two Gruesome Injuries On Last Night’s NXT

Two of NXT’s female stars suffered nasty injuries during last night’s NXT broadcast on the USA Network – both of which left them bloody and bruised.

The first was Aliyah, who suffered a bloody nose when opponent Xia Li accidentally kicked her in the face. The match continued, with Li winning thanks to another kick, then WWE doctors hit the ring to check Aliyah after the match.

Aliyah posted the following selfie on Twitter following the match looking rather the worse for wear:

Later in the show, Mia Yim also suffered a facial injury during her match against Io Shirai when a dropkick to a ladder caused the ladder to smash her in the face, as seen below:

Doctors were on hand immediately to tend to Yim after the injury and again after the match.

Yim was given a standing ovation as she left the building and was met by other half Keith Lee on the stage, who gave her a supportive hug.

The injury looked bad at the time but Yim has since tweet that she is fine, which is a relief:
