One WWE Hall of Famer and one soon-to-be WWE Hall of Famer were originally planned to make appearances on last night’s (February 19) Elimination Chamber event.
Per PWInsider, there was at one point plans for soon-to-be WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker to make an appearance on the show to celebrate his induction.
It was intended to just be a cameo appearance, and not a match or angle of any kind, but Taker did not end up making the trip.
Also originally slated for this show was WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle, who was intended to appear on the show before his creative return plans were dropped. It was not believed to have been Angle wrestling, but would have been the culmination of his television return.
