It was reported earlier this week that the original plan for the premiere episode of ‘WWE Backstage’ was for WWE Champion Brock Lesnar to be the guest host, and for him to announce he was quitting SmackDown.
Instead, he made the announcement last Friday to make up for most of the roster being missing, and WWE has had a dig in their special guest sack and pulled out two big ones.
Firstly, WWE Hall of Famer and sexy boy Shawn Michaels will be on the show to discuss NXT and what its like being such a sexy boy.
Secondly, new Universal Champion Bray Wyatt will be making an appearance via the Firefly Fun House, although it has not been confirmed whether he will also be appearing in the studio.
Michaels and Fiendy will join hosts Renee Young and Booker T for tonight’s premiere which will air on FS1 at 11pm ET, which I believe is 4am GMT, so good luck pulling in any British viewers.
