The event will feature matches pitting NXT and NXT UK stars against each other. To date these are the second and third matches announced for the show.
Storm and Ripley have a storied history. Ripley defeated Storm to become the first ever NXT UK Women’s Champion. Months later, Storm dethroned Ripley at NXT UK Takeover: Blackpool. Now they will do battle over the NXT version of the Women’s Championship.
Finn Balor and Ilja Dragunov have no such history. Balor has been feuding with Johnny Gargano since his return to NXT. For a short while, at least, he will turn his attention to Dragunov.
The only other match announced for the show is the big eight-man tag team match pitting Undisputed Era against Imperium.
WWE Worlds Collide will take place on January 25, 2020 in Houston, Texas.
NXT UK Takeover: Blackpool II is also set to take place soon, airing on January 12, 2020.
