Two Indy Wrestlers To Debut For ROH

Two Indy Wrestlers To Debut For ROH

ROH has announced that two top independent wrestlers will make their debut on the Final Battle Fallout.  Rey Horus and Nicole Savoy will make their debut on the ROH Television Tapings following the ROH pay-per-view.

If you aren’t familiar with Rey Horus, he is a great high flying luchador.  He was known as Dragon Azteca Jr. on Lucha Underground.

Horus will be facing Flip Gordon.  Gordon has been known for his high-flying.  However, his new heel character has been focused on grounding high-flyers.

Meanwhile, Nicole Savoy will be debuting against former WOH World Champion, Sumie Sukai.  For those not familiar with Savoy, she is known as “The Queen of Suplexes.”

Savoy is the longest-reigning Shimmer Women’s Champion in history.  She held the championship for 721 days from Nov. 12, 2017 to Nov. 3, 2019.

She defeated Mercedes Martinez, Deonna Purrazzo, Britt Baker, Cheerleader Melissa, LuFisto, and Kimber Lee, among others in defense of the title.

Savoy will be a big addition to the roster.  Due to comments made on social media, ROH has recently lost its WOH World Champion, Kelly Klein.

It will be interesting to see how these two new debuts impact ROH.  ROH has had a rough couple of months.  They need some kind of shake-up to re-invigorating the fanbase.
