Two Matches Added To AEW: Dynamite

AEW has announced two new matches for Dynamite this week. One has potential title implications and the other should just be plain old fun.

First, Hikaru Shida will be wrestling Dr. Britt Baker. These two have been on a collision course for a while now.

Shida has been on a bit of a winning streak. Baker has also been heavily featured on television, often being on commentary and in the crowd.

Based on how AEW has been featuring both, you’d have to think this would be for the number 1 contender’s spot in the rankings. If Double or Nothing actually happens, the winner could possibly face Nyla Rose for the AEW Women’s Title.

The other match that is more fun than meaningful is Best Friends vs. Kenny Omega and Michael Nakazawa. Hangman Page has not been at the tapings over the last few weeks.

AEW has more or less been taping with a skeleton crew. The good news is that crew includes Kenny Omega. Even without the crowd, Kenny Omega has been putting on great matches each week.

Of course, if The Best Friends beat Kenny and Nakazawa then they did beat one-half of the tag team champions and could be in line for a title shot too.
