AEW
Two more AEW stars have been removed from the company’s roster page.
Earlier today it was reported that Malakai Black’s AEW contract had officially expired on February 9, after it was spotted that the former House of Black leader was no longer present on the company’s official roster.
Now, just hours after the news regarding Black’s departure was reported both Ricky Starks and Miro have also been removed from the AEW roster page.
While we await an update on whether Starks is officially gone from AEW, PWInsider have confirmed that Miro and AEW have come to a mutual agreement regarding his departure from the company.
Both Starks and Miro have been off TV for a prolonged period of time, with the former last appearing on Collision in March 2024, while the latter hasn’t been seen since Worlds End in December 2023.
It was reported in September that Miro had requested his release from AEW, however, there wasn’t further confirmation to say whether this had been granted or denied at the time.
According to PWInsider’s latest update Miro and AEW had been “working on an agreement for some time”, with his departure coming long before his Spring 2026 contract expiry date.
Starks also reportedly requested his release from AEW amid his absence from TV, but it was said to have been denied by Tony Khan.
The most recent update on Starks’ contract had stated that his deal was up in the Spring, with no date given at the time.
We will provide further updates on the status of Starks and whether he has officially departed AEW when more information becomes available.
