WWE has finally fleshed out the card for Sunday’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view with the confirmation of two tag matches, though not the ones many predicted would be on the show.
The first is a Raw Tag Team Title match between champions The Bar and challengers Titus Worldwide, who defeated the belt holders in a non-title match on Raw. The two duos have had several matches over the past two months, often with similar results. That being said, it seems highly unlikely that Apollo and Titus will walk away from Chamber with the gold.
The other bout is somewhat surprising, pitting Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson against Miztourage geeks Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas. It was expected that WWE would present another rerun between Gallows & Anderson and The Revival – who have been feuding – so this is way out of left field.
It also leads me to wonder if WWE have changed their minds on The Miz vs. Braun Strowman at WrestleMania and are instead leaning towards The Miztourage vs. Balor Club. Quite frankly, neither sounds all that appealing.
The full card for Sunday’s event is now set as:
Men’s Elimination Chamber
Braun Strowman vs. John Cena vs. Elias vs. Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins vs. The Miz vs. Finn Balor
Women’s Elimination Chamber / Raw Women’s Title
Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Sasha Banks vs. Bayley vs. Mandy Rose vs. Mickie James vs. Sonya Deville
Raw Tag Team Titles
The Bar (c) vs. Titus Worldwide
Asuka vs. Nia Jax
Matt Hardy vs. Bray Wyatt
Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson vs. Curtis Axel & Bo Dallas
Ronda Rousey Contract Signing
On paper it has potential to be one of the better B-shows in a while. Both Chamber matches should offer entertainment, Asuka-Jax could be good if they are allowed to go for it with the shackles off, the Rousey contract will be at the very least interesting (and will give a firmer indication of where WWE is going with her) and the other bouts should all be given time to get over.
