Two New AEW EVPs Potentially Revealed AEW

Two AEW Executive Vice Presidents could be set to be replaced as members of the company’s management team.

When AEW was formed in 2019, as well as being performers, Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega the Young Bucks were all named EVPs of the company.

Rhodes left in early 2022, but Omega and the Bucks have maintained that title, which is a legitimate position, but has also been played up as part of their characters on TV.

For the Bucks especially, they have often ‘abused their power’ as heels on-screen.

However, that could be coming to an end as soon as the AEW All In Texas pay-per-view event on July 12.

After Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay teamed up tonight in a win against Blake Christian and Lee Johnson on Dynamite, they had a challenge for the Bucks.

A tag team match featuring Strickland and Ospreay teaming up against the Bucks was announced for All In, with Ospreay suggesting the stipulation that the Bucks’ status as EVPs should be on the line, which would make Strickland and Ospreay EVPs if they win.

The Bucks have yet to officially accept the challenge, but the way it was set up, it does appear that will be the stipulation.
