Two New WWE Stars’ Debuts Confirmed

Two New WWE Stars’ Debuts Confirmed WWE

The debuts for two WWE developmental talents have been confirmed for what looks set to be an intriguing show later this week.

The card for the show features two debuts, a return from a long absence, and the son of a WWE legend.

As usual, prior to last night’s live March 19 WWE NXT show, three matches for this coming Friday’s edition of NXT Level Up were taped.

The first match taped was between Tavion Heights, who hasn’t really been established on NXT TV but has been a Level Up regular since the start of 2023, against debutant Saquon Shugars.

Saquon Shugars is the new WWE name for former indie wrestler Lucky Ali, who joined NXT at the start of the year – he’s worked a few untelevised house show matches, but this’ll be his first on broadcast.

Another talent who signed at the same time as Shugars is Fit Finlay’s son Brogan Finlay, who’s been renamed Uriah Connors.

Connors actually had a short match against Shawn Spears on NXT TV a couple of weeks ago, but now making his Level Up debut, has a match against Eddy Thorpe.

This will actually be Thorpe’s first match since December 2023, his last being the NXT Underground match, in which he was beaten by Dijak.

In the other match for Level Up, there’s yet another debut in the form of Lainey Reid.

Reid is the new name for TyLynn Register, a professional rodeo champion, and track and field athlete from Jacksonville State, who will also be having her first match on broadcast – like Shugars, she has worked multiple untelevised matches already.

Reid’s opponent for the match that’ll air this Friday was OTM’s Jaida Parker.
