Two WWE NXT Stars Backstage At January 16 Raw Show

Ever since Triple H took control of WWE creative back in July, WWE Main Event has served as a platform for many current NXT stars to get test runs for a future main roster call-up.

In the past, various names from Carmelo Hayes, Alba Fyre, Joe Gacy and Andre Chase have taken part in matches at the tapings prior to that week’s Raw show.

Well, per PWInsider, WWE NXT stars Zoey Stark and Charlie Dempsey are backstage at tonight’s WWE Raw taping in Cincinnati, Ohio.

While not explicitly stated in the report, it is safe to assume that Dempsey and Stark’s presence is due to them working this week’s Main Event tapings.

This will be the first time that Charlie Dempsey (son of William Regal) will appear on the Main Event tapings, while Zoey Stark has previously wrestled on the tapings.
