Tonight’s (May 28) episode of SmackDown opened with a tag team match that saw The Usos defeat the Street Profits.
After that match, the Usos approached WWE official Adam Pearce backstage and said that they wanted to face the winner of the SmackDown Tag Team Championship main event, which Pearce granted.
In said main event, Rey & Dominik Mysterio defeated Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode to retain the titles, setting up the match for next week.
Also next week, Kevin Owens will take on Apollo Crews for the Intercontinental Championship, with Commander Azeez banned from ringside.
