Two Title Matches Confirmed For WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event WWE

Two championship matches have been confirmed for the upcoming edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, the first of 2025.

Following on from the show that took place on December 14, the next edition of the SNME event is set for January 25.

On tonight’s January 13 Raw, two championship matches were confirmed for the show.

Firstly, Bron Breakker will defend the Intercontinental Championship in a match against Sheamus.

Sheamus picked up a win against Ludwig Kaiser on Raw tonight with Breakker watching on from the crowd, before Sheamus and Breakker almost got into a post-match brawl.

The second confirmed match is another title match from Raw – that being World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER defending against Jey Uso.

GUNTHER came to the ring and said that while he was impressed by the look and spectacle of Raw’s Netflix debut last week, he wasn’t impressed with the level of the in-ring action.

That prompted Jey Uso to come out and confront GUNTHER, after Uso defeated Drew McIntyre last week.

The upcoming WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event special takes place one week before the Royal Rumble on February 1.
