Two WWE King & Queen Of The Ring Finalists Confirmed WWE

One finalist each for the WWE King & Queen tournaments have been confirmed during tonight’s June 20 episode of SmackDown.

Over the past couple of weeks, both Raw and SmackDown hosted four-way quarter-final matches in both tournaments, leading to the semi-final lineups being confirmed.

Tonight, one semi-final each in the men’s and women’s tournaments took place, with the opener being the Queen of the Ring semi-final between Alexa Bliss and Asuka.

Bliss had won a four-way against Alba Fyre, Candice LeRae and Charlotte Flair in the quarter-final round, while Asuka had beaten Ivy Nile, Stephanie Vaquer and Raquel Rodriguez.

In tonight’s semi-final, it was Asuka who picked up the win with her new Empress Impact finisher.

Via her win, Asuka will now face the winner of the other semi-final between Jade Cargill vs Roxanne Perez, which takes place on the June 23 episode of Raw.

The final will take place at Night of Champions on June 28, as will the men’s final.

The men’s semi-final that took place tonight was Randy Orton vs Sami Zayn.

Orton had won a four-way against Carmelo Hayes, Aleister Black and LA Knight, while Zayn’s win came against Dominik Mysterio, Penta and Bron Breakker.

It was Orton who scored the win against Zayn tonight with an RKO, earning his spot in the King of the Ring final for the second year in a row.

The other semi-final, again taking place on Raw, will be Cody Rhodes vs Jey Uso.

The winners of the finals will earn world championship matches at WWE SummerSlam on August 2/3.
