Two Top WWE Names On Leave From The Company WWE

Two top backstage WWE names are reportedly currently on leave from the company for personal and family reasons.

In an update from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, long-time WWE creative team members Bruce Prichard and Michael Hayes are currently on a temporary leave from the company, per multiple sources.

Both men are expected to return to the company, though the time frame for their return was said to be ‘indefinite’.

Prichard’s absence is officially said to be due to a family emergency, while Hayes’ absence is due to personal issues.

While both absences have taken place at the same time, there is no connection between the two, with those in WWE emphasizing that this is not more of the old guard being moved out, as people would speculate, and that both will be back.

Prichard is one of the key names in the creative team in the company, with him working directly under Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque.

Michael Hayes has worked with the company since retiring as a full-time wrestler in 1995, and has worked as a producer for a number of years, including recently being the key producer for the Bloodline storyline in the company.

Many had speculated about Hayes’ status when Jamie Noble was listed as the producer for the Bloodline six-man tag team match at Crown Jewel.
