Tyler Bate Match Added To August 23 WWE NXT 2.0

NXT UK Champion Tyler Bate will be in action on Tuesday’s (August 23) edition of NXT 2.0, following his appearance at NXT Heatwave.

During the August 16 TV special, Bate confronted NXT Champion Bron Breakker following Breakker’s title defence against JD McDonagh.

WWE has now announced that Bate will face off against Von Wagner on this week’s show.

WWE noted:

NXT UK Champion Tyler Bate made a shocking arrival this past Tuesday when he stood eye-to-eye with NXT Champion Bron Breakker, but if Bate wants to plant his flag on NXT 2.0, he’ll have to go through Von Wagner’s jungle.

Can The Big Strong Boi topple the towering Superstar, or will he quickly realize that he’s living in Wagner’s World?

WWE recently confirmed that NXT UK will go on a hiatus, with NXT Europe launching in 2023. Numerous NXT UK stars were released following this announcement, including Trent Seven and Emilia (Millie) McKenzie.

An NXT Worlds Collide special has also been announced for September 4.
