The announcement comes amid renewed speculation that Fury could be making his return to WWE.

Theoretically, what better place for Tyson Fury to hop back into a WWE ring than when WWE makes it’s way to practically his backyard for Clash at the Castle in Cardiff, Wales on September 3, 2022.

Reportedly, Tyson Fury is in talks for a WWE return and has recently mentioned Drew McIntyre specifically in interviews.

For his part, Drew has commented that he finds Fury’s obsession with him to be “weird” however has mentioned in the past that he is willing to fight Fury.

Drew McIntyre may not be available to take on Tyson Fury at Clash at the Castle however as he is already scheduled to face Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Fury, nicknamed ‘The Gypsy King,’ made his WWE debut in 2019 when he faced Braun Strowman at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia.
