An update has emerged on Tyson Fury’s WWE status, ahead of the upcoming Clash at the Castle UK premium live event.
In April, Fury teased a WWE return, telling his fans that they might see him at SummerSlam in July, or at the Clash at the Castle show in Cardiff on September 3.
Per GiveMeSport, sources close to Fury have revealed that the Gypsy King is in talks with WWE regarding a return this summer. Nothing has been finalised yet, per the report.
Fury made his pro-wrestling debut at WWE Crown Jewel 2019, defeating Braun Strowman (Adam Scherr) via countout.
The star announced his retirement from professional boxing earlier this year following his win over Dillian Whyte. Fury recently stated that he’s interested in having exhibition fights, naming Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson as a name he’d be open to stepping into the ring with.
We will continue to provide updates on Tyson Fury’s WWE status as they become available.
SummerSlam will air from the Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee on July 30. Check out the updated card for the event right here.
