Claudio Castagnoli Says ‘The Only Stars That Matter Are Uber Ratings’ AEW

Claudio Castagnoli says that his Uber rating is more important to him than star ratings!

While some wrestlers are known to boast their matches with high star ratings from Dave Meltzer, Claudio Castagnoli targets another rating.

According to Claudio Castagnoli, the Blackpool Combat Club cares more about their Uber ratings than those other star rating systems out there!

Appearing on AEW Unrestricted, Claudio shared an amusing story about backstage hijinks from the Blackpool Combat Club.

Castagnoli described on the pod how the discussion of Uber ratings occurred and speaking (mostly in jest it seemed) about the infamous star rating system.

Claudio saying:

“We established like last week, we had a shoot prior to Mox’s title unification match and we kind of established that…it kind of started as a joke but it was funny because the only thing that matters in the Blackpool Combat Club is Uber ratings.

“The only stars that matter are Uber ratings because [William Regal] has a five star Uber rating. I mentioned it because my Uber rating dropped from 4.91 to 4.89 and I’m very upset because that means somebody would have had to rate me lower and I want to find out who it was.

“[Regal] just pulled up his rating and goes ‘perfect five’. I’ve never met anyone that had a perfect five that uses it as much as he does so it’s very impressive.”

Unrestricted host Tony Schiavone pulled up his Uber rating and revealed that he too carries an impressive rating that exceeds Claudio’s, coming in at 4.96.

Claudio Castagnoli put his ROH World Championship on the line against Dax Harwood on this week’s edition of AEW Rampage which has already been filmed but has yet to air.
