The Undertaker has commented on coming close to breaking character during a backstage segment in WWE alongside Kurt Angle.

The moment would be revealed on a recent episode of Six Feet Under, which featured Angle in conversation with The Undertaker and Michelle McCool.

Reflecting on the spot on the July 12, 2001 episode of WWE SmackDown in which Mr McMahon attempted to motivate Team WWF, Angle would recount the preposterous nature of the segment.

With McCool noting how funny Angle is, she asked if he had ever got The Undertaker to break character, with the Olympic Gold Medalist saying:

“I think I got him one time. We were doing Vince McMahon, Taker and (Chris) Jericho, I think Kane, Stone Cold and myself.

“Steve and I were, you know, he had his guitar and he’d hand me it. Steve would take it away from me and Taker was like, he was trying not to laugh so… He had a crack of a smile.”

The Undertaker would share his memories of the moment in question, stating:

“It started with you two bickering back and forth. Austin starts chiming in and repeating everything that Vince (said). Yeah, everything Vince would say, then Austin would repeat it.

“That one was close. And there was one, we were tagging, I bang on Kurt’s door, like ‘Angle, come on!

“This joker comes out, he’s got a red, white and blue bandana… I’m trying to remember what it was you said.

“He’s like “you’re the American Badass…”

Angle would chime in, confirming the next part of the sentence as being:

“And, I’m the Olympic Gold Medal Ass.”

It would end there, however, with The Undertaker going on to complete Angle’s phrase, saying:

“And, together we’re gonna kick somebody’s ass!

“The big tell, for me, like I was about to lose it is “Come on, let’s go, I gotta get out of this shot!”

“I gotta get out of this shot because this fool, you never knew”
