Undertaker Explains Attacking The Rock At WrestleMania 40

The Undertaker has commented on his appearance at WWE WrestleMania 40, which saw him attack The Rock.

WrestleMania 40 in 2024 saw The Rock & Roman Reigns team up against Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins in a Bloodline Rules match.

The chaotic match saw The Bloodline victorious leading into the Night Two match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship between Reigns and Rhodes.

During the April 6, 2024 match, The Undertaker made an appearance, chokeslamming The Rock as he prepared to attack Rhodes, as can be seen below this news story.

Speaking on Good Morning America, the WWE LFG mentor discussed how it was payback for historical events, saying:

“Rock and I, we kind of linked up last year at WrestleMania and I got to give him a little bit of payback for some stuff back in the day.

“But yeah, it’s amazing when you look at professional wrestlers, sports entertainers, and see what guys like The Rock have done.

“It’s amazing, and it just shows the reach that wrestling has.”

The Undertaker didn’t specify what the “stuff”, but the duo shared the ring in matches on several occasions, most recently teaming together on the August 12, 2002 Raw episode.

The Deadman’s role as a mentor on the WWE LFG series has seen him receive praise by fellow Hall of Famer Booker T.

WWE LFG recently debuted on A&E and sees the next generation of potential stars competing for a contract.
