Undertaker Opens Up About ‘Horrible’ Transition After In-Ring Retirement WWE

WWE Hall of Famer the Undertaker has shared his honest thoughts on his wrestling retirement, opening up about stepping away from the ring.

After numerous retirement teases, Undertaker confirmed that he had hung up his boots for good after his Boneyard match against AJ Styles at WrestleMania 36 in 2020.

A retirement ceremony was held for the Deadman at Survivor Series 2020, before the wrestling legend was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the class of 2022.

Speaking on Hawk vs. Wolf, Undertaker called his transition away from the ring ‘horrible’, noting:

“It’s been a horrible transition. I don’t know that I’ll ever find a passion like I did for actually being in the ring.

“I’m doing the one man show, and I’m enjoying that and it’s new to me, so I can pour myself into it again, but I don’t know if I’ll ever have that passion that wrestling gave to me.

“I watch the product and I’m like, ‘damn, I would have done that differently.'”

Undertaker briefly got physical during a segment on the January 23 Raw 30 special, helping Wyatt corner LA Knight, and passing Wyatt Knight for a Sister Abigail.

The Deadman also discussed the possibility of a return to the ring, which you can read more about right here.
