The Undertaker Says He’s Proud Of WWE Star For How Far He’s Come WWE

Hall of Famer The Undertaker has now shared high praise for WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

Reigns has been pushed as WWE’s most dominant star for years now, with the Tribal Chief recently celebrating passing 1000 days as Universal Champion.

Speaking with The Independent, Undertaker noted that he’s proud of Reigns for his improvement over the years.

Impressed by the top star, Undertaker said:

“He’s doing a phenomenal job. His character, his talent and everything has grown exponentially through this run. It’s arguably one of the greatest runs ever. I like it because it’s such an old school move, to have the title that long.”

“He’s got to be in the conversation. But do you put him in the same boat as Stone Cold Steve Austin, or Hulk Hogan? I don’t know. Everything’s so subjective when it comes to that.

“Reigns has the claim to fame now. He’s the man. I mean, it’s not even close, really. He’s had the title for a thousand days. Business is incredible.

“He picks his own schedule. He’s got a claim, he’s got an argument. I’m really proud of him for how he’s come. It really has been impressive.”

The Deadman and the Tribal Chief have clashed in one-on-one action before, with Reigns becoming the second man to pin Undertaker at a WrestleMania event in 2017 at WrestleMania 33.

While Undertaker indicated that he was retiring following the bout, he continued to wrestle until 2020, with his final match being his Boneyard Match against AJ Styles at WrestleMania 36.

The Undertaker recently opened up about his urge to return to the ring, which you can read more about right here.
