It was announced earlier this month that WWE icon The Undertaker would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame over WrestleMania 38 weekend.
When it was announced that the Phenom was to be inducted, many fans speculated that, given his unrivaled legacy in the company, he should be the sole inductee into the Hall of Fame this year.
However, per WrestleVotes on Twitter, the idea for Taker to be the sole inductee was floated, but ultimately it will not be the case.
They said:
Although the idea was in fact considered, I’m told The Undertaker will not be a “solo” inductee at this years Hall of Fame. Source expects additional names will be announced soon, potentially starting tomorrow.
WWE’s Hall of Fame ceremony is set to take place on Friday, April 1 2022.
