Tonight’s NXT is not only the go-home show before NXT TakeOver: War Games III, but also the final NXT show before Survivor Series on Sunday night.
On a call with the media ahead of this week’s big shows, Triple H confirmed that four of the five men that will represent NXT at Survivor Series will likely be revealed on tonight’s show.
The WWE COO would go on to add that the final member will be revealed on “the day of” Survivor Series. He said that the final member will be an “epic surprise” that will get people excited.
However, it seems as if we don’t have to wait until Sunday night to see a few big surprises. Triple H also confirmed on the media call that tonight’s NXT will feature unexpected appearances from a few top stars.
Triple H says that there will be a lot of big names people won't expect on NXT tonight. Talks about the creative process and says that everyone's been on the same page of late anyway. He calls it a collaborative process.

There is no word on who these “big names” are. However, with Triple H trying to recruit Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins to Team NXT over the last few weeks, I fully expect both former Universal Champions to be at Full Sail tonight.
While the appearances will be kept a surprise, we already know that The Revival will take on Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly of the Undisputed Era on tonight’s show.
The match was set up after Undisputed Era attacked The Revival last week on Smackdown during their tag team title match with New Day.
Speaking about The Revival vs. Undisputed Era match that will go down on tonight’s show, Triple H seemed rather excited.
Triple H calls Undisputed Era vs. Revival a dream match for him.

Taking this into account, I really wouldn’t be surprised to see NXT beat AEW in the Wednesday Night War ratings for the very first time this week.
