Unique Stipulation Match Reportedly Discussed For WWE SummerSlam

Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville have been feuding since before WrestleMania 36, and have already had one one-on-one match together. However, it seems like WWE wanted their feud to continue for at least another month.

According to recent reports, WWE pitched having the former Absolution stablemates go one-on-one at next month at SummerSlam. The report also states that have a rather unique stipulation was being discussed.

Ringside News is reporting that it was pitched backstage for Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville to have a “hair match” at the upcoming pay-per-view:

“Ringside News has learned that WWE was discussing a SummerSlam match between Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville with an interesting stipulation. It was proposed that they have a “hair match.”

There is no word on if this was going to be a “hair vs. hair match” or something different. For the latest on that, stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com.

Taking to Twitter, Ringside News founder Steve Carrier had the following to say regarding the report:

How would you feel about Mandy Rose vs Sonya Deville in a hair match at WWE SummerSlam? We have learned that was ACTUALLY on the table and in discussions. Not happening though. That brings us to the more important questions: Who would have lost their hair?”

There is no word on if this still is the plan, but the wording of the report makes it seem as if this was something WWE was considering, by no longer is.
