In a major match with WrestleMania 39 implication has ended with a very unusual finish leaving one champ still unclear on his opponent!
With Sheamus hitting a Brogue Kick and Drew McIntyre hitting a Claymore, the duo went on to make pins at the exact same time, resulting in a very unclear match finish.
With the crowd chanting “Triple Threat!” two referees stood in the ring befuddled while Sheamus and Drew had an argument (sans microphones) as the show cut to the back.
In a backstage Kayla Braxton said that Adam Pearce would have some big decisions to make so we’ll have to continue to stay tuned to SmackDown on Fox to find out what happens next.
The Fatal-Five way in question served as the qualifier for the Intercontinental Championship to see who would get a shot at the champ GUNTHER at WrestleMania 39.
Featuring LA Knight, Xavier Woods, Karrion Kross and the aforementioned Sheamus and Drew McIntyre, the match was a fun opener for tonight’s (March 10) SmackDown.
