WWE is set to hold it’s first-ever ‘King & Queen of the Ring’ event in May.
It was reported by Wrestlenomics that WWE’s King & Queen of the Ring event is set for May 27, which would likely be the same weekend as AEW’s Double or Nothing event.
In an update from PWInsider, the event is set to take place on May 27, and will be the latest WWE premium live event to take place in Saudi Arabia.
An updated report from PWInsider notes that the event is set to take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The previous WWE Saudi Arabia event took place in November, when WWE held Crown Jewel in Riyadh.
The event saw Roman Reigns defeat Logan Paul in the main event to retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in Logan’s second ever singles match.
This won’t be the first time a King and Queen will be crowned in Saudi Arabia, as WWE held the finals of the 2021 King of the Ring and Queen’s Crown Tournaments in the country in 2021.
The tournaments were won by Xavier Woods and Zelina Vega respectively.
