Update On AEW Training Progress Of Hook

AEW Director of Creative Coordination QT Marshall has provided an update on the progress of Taz’s soon Hook and his training.

It was reported a couple of months ago that Hook and Brock Anderson were considered ready to debut, and soon after that Anderson did debut and has had several matches on Dark and Elevation since.

Hook has constantly been on TV with Team Taz, but still hasn’t made his in-ring debut. In a new interview with Stephanie Chase, Marshall said:

“Hook has been doing some stuff at the training school. When he first started, he was coming down and staying there all the time, staying at my house, believe it or not. Taz and I have a very great relationship. Now Taz is with the FTW Dojo. (Hook) is pretty good. He’s a college lacrosse player, so he’s an athlete. Growing up, with his father in the industry, it falls into place. Great looking, great head of hair, very jealous of his hair. He’s very mysterious, he doesn’t give everything away. He’ll post a photo once in a while. Has he ever tweeted? That’s why everyone wants to know about him because he’s there and doesn’t give it away. I’m not sure when he’s going to debut, but when he does, I’m sure everyone will be excited. Like Jungle Boy; he’s young, great looking, in tremendous shape, very athletic. He’s going to hit that demographic very well.”

Hook has already developed a legion of fans on social media – in particular Reddit – known as Hookers, and it certainly seems like he’s going to be one of those cult heroes that gets really over when we finally see him in action.
